Excellent replacement for my original adapter which was at least 2 years old, unfortunately it had got worn and been tripped over a couple of times and only worked sometimes. This looks identical to original and has given my laptop a new lease of life, good value for money, highly recommended.

I bought this because I needed next day delivery since I use my laptop for business (which I got). The cable from the power supply to the laptop is way too short. When plugged in, it actually dangles from my desk so it’s not very practical as people walking past can accidentally tug on it and pull the laptop off the desk. This has been extremely badly designed.

I ordered this extension cable to add an extra PCI E expansion card along side a graphics card, with very little space between. I chose the product due to the low profile of the right angle connector.

The shipped product, while meeting the specification of the item, had a somewhat wider right angle connector than the product shown.

If you aren’t tight on space this extension will do the job, but if you don’t have an extra 4-5mm of space to play with be careful.

I needed an new PSU as I was upgrading my Graphics card in my PC and I had toyed with a lot of other makes. Their are lots of other PSU’s out their for a lot less money, but remember you get what you pay for. This PSU is from a well known manufacturer and comes with a 5year guarantee. It was easy to install and runs quieter than my original 250W PSU. Needed an upgrade for my new graphics card and decided to get something of good quality and quite a bit higher than my old one (a 350W dell stock). Seems fine so far and installation was easy. Can’t fault it!

Update: Just broke 16 months down the line. Processing RMA with corsair at the moment (so far easy enough)…
